I'm a global health development consultant specialising in laboratory system strengthening across the Indo-Pacific. My focus sits at the intersection of biosafety, ISO 15189:2022 compliance, and sustainable infrastructure — leading national efforts to design, implement, and operationalise public health and medical laboratories, from BSL-3 facilities to national reference laboratories.
My work bridges technical excellence with governance: aligning diagnostic systems with international best practice through capacity building, policy development, and digital integration, including OpenELIS and instrument interfacing such as GeneXpert. My expertise spans HIV, AMR, respiratory viruses, and zoonotic disease, anchored in a One Health approach.
None of that holds up unless it's also right for the culture and system it sits inside. Geography, language, and local capacity aren't obstacles to plan around — they're the actual design brief. The countries I've worked with are the ones who make the outcome sustainable, long after a contract ends.
